God Does Have A Special Place For Me!

This Sunday is the Sunday School Christmas Concert, everyone is welcome to come! The kids have been working hard on this years performance.

Please bring items to add to the Mexico Suitcase and join us after the concert for potluck lunch!

Sunday School Mexico Suitcase

The Sunday school kids are working to fill suitcases to send with the Graff's for a school in Mexico. If you would like to donate the following items are a few requested (but not limited to):

paper
pencils
math books
building blocks
puzzles
reading books (Spanish & English)
storage bins & shelves

You can also make a cash donations through the church (please just add a note saying it is for Mexico) and the Graff's will use the money to purchase items once they are in Mexico.

The Sunday School kids would like to thank you for your donation, we hope the suitcases will be full by the Sunday School concert (Dec 20 at 11:00).

Darcy, Laura, Lillian and Asher Albers will be providing service on November 1 at 11:00. They will also be hosting a community presentation at Malmo Church on November 1; more information to follow.

This years Sunday School Theme is 'Fruit of the Spirit'. The kids are loving it so far!

September 6 - service time changes to 11:00, coffee and fellowship before Church.

September 6 we will be having a congregational meeting following service to discuss replacement of the windows.

September 20 Sunday School begins!

On Sunday September 6 there will be a congregational meeting, following service, to discuss the need to replace the windows in the sanctuary, please plan to attend. 
September 6 service time changes to 11:00, please plan to come a little early to have a cup of coffee and fellowship.

Tomorrow is the last Sunday of the month which means....potluck! Everyone is welcome to join us down stairs after service for yummy food and fellowship.

Calvary's annual Cemetery/Memorial Service is on Sunday August 9 at 10:30am.

The Svenskbyborna Cultural Society will be hosting a catered lunch @ 12:30pm following the Memorial/Cemetery Service.. If you plan to stay for lunch the cost is $15 (children 10 & under are free). Please RSVP to Mary Ellen 780 352 6843 by July 5.

Sunday Service is happening at the same time & place (so there will be no service at Calvary on June 21).
Directions to the Bradley's: Head South on Range Road 221 from Township Road 440, then take the 2nd right onto Cedar Way and they are the 4th house on the left, #642.

Burgers, bun, & drinks provided, please bring a potluck item to share (salad, dessert, chips, etc.). You may wish to bring your lawn chair, Glen and Donna do have some chairs available.

This is going to be a fun filled day of worship, fellowship, and games.

Sunday May 31 there is a baptism during service!

We will also be having our regular last Sunday of the month pot luck. This is a great time to visit and eat, so feel free come and join us, we look forward to seeing you.

Pastor Ed Skutshek, the president of CALC will be speaking at our Sunday morning Service  - hope you can make it to meet him if you have not met him yet - he is a great speaker and loves the little country churches!!
